Sunday Best 1.19.14

This week I’m getting back into my schedule- slowly and painfully. I was rehearsing Deployed for about 2 weeks straight and now it’s over. Every time I close a show it shocks my system. You would think I would be used to it by now, but no. It’s just amazing how fully engaged I can be in a project and how swiftly it can come to an end. Still processing so more thoughts on that later.

Highlights of this week included a friend’s Improv show where I was reunited with so many dear college friends, and my rainy date day with BJ on Saturday. We had plans to go on an epic West Village adventure but when it was all drizzly outside it seemed like the perfect day to see a movie. We saw Her and what an interesting film! I especially appreciated the realistic, subtle portrayal of the future. We also hit up Luke’s Lobster and splurged on the “Noah’s Ark,” boasting  2 half lobster rolls, 2 half crab rolls, 2 half shrimp rolls, 4 crab claws, 2 bags of chips, and 2 sodey pops. It was SO good. And our favorite was actually the shrimp roll (the least expensive roll of the three!)
